True to my life motto I am touring around at the moment. Last weekend we rocked Love City in Hamburg, the last days I spent quite productive at the Chaishop headquarters. Right now I will proceed to Mecklenburg to produce some music, on Tuesday I will try to play an oldschool “Goa” set at a freaky trance event in Kiel. My tour continues to Berlin and Lüneburg. A nice foto review will follow of course… If you are in one of this tour stations- lets meet for a drink ;)
The summer over here in Germany was pretty short… and pretty cold… for the fall i discovered this wonderful melancholic dj mix on djsanonymous.org.

Kollektiv Turmstraße are two dudes from northern Germany. Actually they played a few times in Lärz, where I am regularly for partying, producing music and meeting friends also beside Fusion festival. But actually their liveact did not drew my attention at first… A few weeks ago I listened to their track “Tritesse” and was really enthusiastic about it. Minimal but kicking with this certain melancholy inside- amazing tune! I used this track as opener for two of my DJ sets and liked it even more then. Actually it is the first track in the set attached below, too… So now I am looking forward to listen to them playing live in the Love City where I will go to next weekend. For all you who are not able to attend their set then- here is a live record. Ganz großes Kino!

Yeah, this is the future of midi controllers! While there are quite a few really nice physical controllers like the Novation Remote series or the pretty cheap but highly functional Behringer BCR 2000 today, tomorrow there will be a completely new world of live audio controlling. Check out this really wicked gear from JazzMutant here- its a dream! Just imagine what will evolve from this technoogy in a few years… I found something new to get savings for, definitely ;)

In Australia there are these long, broad highways which go straight ahead for dozens of kilometers. A perfect speedway for fast cars. But unfortunately there is a tempo limit which is something like 110 kilometers per hour… Here in Czech, the sacred land of beer drinking where I am staying at the moment it is kind of similar.
