I’m totally diggin the music of Gelka. Listening to it in the morning while sipping my first coffee sets me into a laid-back mood for the day and having it on my headphones while cruising the streets transforms me into an easy panther sneaking his preserve. Am kommenden Freitag, den 19. Februar hosten meine geschätzten Freunde der Sonic Fiction Crew einen Abend im Berliner K44 / Homebase, einem scheinbar ziemlich schicken Laden mit 360° Panorama Projektionsfläche, der gerade dieser Tage mit der Berlinale bzw. ihren filmemachenden Gästen assoziiert wird. Neben dem durchweg als amtlich zu bezeichnenden Musikprogramm der Ausrichter wurde auch meine Wenigkeit eingeladen, ein paar Scheiben zu spielen. Dies wird womöglich für eine Weile mein letzter Aufenthalt in der Hauptstadt, ich freue mich also, möglichst viele von euch nochmal zu treffen und mit euch zu feiern!

This mix sounds like its name. Nothing for style purists because it is a pretty mad mashup of broken beats, dub basses, African and Carribean rhythms and raps. In one word: Awesome.
