Mein ehemaliger Mitbewohner, der mit den Produzenten dieses Hörspiels persönlich bekannt ist, schleppte es vor einigen Jahren in unserer damaligen WG an. Innerhalb weniger Tage erreichte es dort Kultstatus und wurde jede Stunde in einem der Zimmer irgendeinem Besucher lautstark vorgespielt. Ich wollte es schon lange hier veröffentlichen, hatte jedoch gewisse Skrupel, wegen der Urheberrechte und so… Nun steht es bei youtube, daher kann ich es endlich mit euch allen teilen- wobei jeder, der mal persönlich mit mir zu schaffen hatte, es sowieso schon kennen sollte…

Damn, this one is the best Electronic Dance Music mix I listened to since quite some time! Download and store it, for it is only available for a few weeks. Via Resident Advisory, anyway a Podcast worth subscribing.

Lets start into the week with this wonderful latin- flavoured set by the Ancient Astronauts and Blondet, recorded live at the Eighteenth Street Lounge in Washington D.C. It creates a wonderfully positive contrast to the giant fridge of the German capital I am staying in at the moment…

Und schließlich wird auch der Hedonistic Freelancer Roberdo für ein musikalisches Spagat zwischen verwegenen Clubsounds, Punkrock und comicartigen Skurrilitäten in der Hansestadt andocken.

Currently staying in Berlin, I went to the abandoned listening station on Teufelsberg (German for Devil’s Mountain) today. Quite a big complex that was used to espionage the Soviets and East Germans during the cold war. Obviously it is a popular spot, though it is fenced in, we met various other people there and unfortunately the whole place is covered with tags and graffitis (well, admittedly there are some rather good ones). But still a great place to go for, great views to the city and the surrounding nature and also impressing buildings. The highest dome has very special acoustics, a huge and fucking trippy reverb that is really kind of mind-bending… And finally, finally an opportunity to take some nice pictures again!

Just discovered this video from Indian Spirit Festival 2004. From 00:35, it includes some footage taken during my DJ set on Saturday afternoon. I remember this moment very well, was kind of final climax of my very personal summer of love 2004 – if any climax can be fixed in this absolutely dreamlike summer…

The dudes I.D. & Baobinga slowly but constantly attracted more and more of my notice during the past months. One after the other of their remarkable varied productions found their way into my top picks folders because of their hard, kicking and dirty edge. When I found out that these dudes are also involved into one of my favorite music blogs, I was finally euphoric about them. So reading this blog very frequently I was really looking forward for this one: An entire album – for free! Listened to it only one time yet but honestly have to say that is quite a banger, very varied, very deep and very dirty. Quite some Hip Hop influences, too, which I am very fond of at the moment. If you have enough money, donte a few pounds for a hospital. And dont miss to read the diary of a free album which is really interesting to read and reveals a really cool, straightforward attitude!

You remember how adventurous everyday life was when you were a kid? The cellar of your parents was an exciting cave labyrinth and the garden of your granny an exotic savanna… Well, children dont need too much input, they just add a critical portion of thrill and excitement to actually pretty simple things using their huge imagination.
