I finally managed to record another DJ mix, this time it consists of some of my current Dubstep and Bass Music favourites. Very deep, spacey and sometimes even trancey tunes with a cinematic edge.

Here we go with a great Christmas present from Switchstance Recordings, Germany’s No. 1 music label for laid-back minds: Astroboter recorded an extra easy, genre-crossing DJ mix, dreamy and meditative but yet far away from being soporific.
The lastest issue of mushroom magazine was published already two weeks ago, now I also added the digital version to my download section. This time I had an interview with Chris Dyer, a fantastic Peruvian artist based in Canada nowadays. He is incredibly industrious with his Psychedelic Street Art… Also I wrote a column about accoustic drugs and the so called prohibition of traditional medical plants.

Ausgehtipp fürs kalte Münsterland: Guts, seines Zeichens französischer Großmeister der extra entspannten Dope Beats, wird im Hot Jazz Club der westfälischen Provinzmetropole auftreten. Der Sound seiner beiden bisher veröffentlichten Alben zeichnet sich nicht nur durch rollenden Groove und ungenierten stilistischen Abwechslungsreichtum aus, sondern auch und vor allem durch eine ganz eigene Art von Humor, die mich persönlich manchmal an gewisse skurrile Kinostreifen aus seiner Heimat erinnert. Auf der Bühne wird der in Paris ansässige Produzent mit einer MPC-4000, einer SP-1200 und einem Technics Plattenspieler arbeiten, was ein stilechter Spaß der besonderen Art zu werden verspricht. Guts’ Auftritte sind hierzulande rar gesät, daher lohnt für diesen Spaß auch eine etwas weitere Anreise!
