Boom Festival 2010 pictures
August 29th, 2010
Breath-taking constructions, installations and decorations, an outstanding diverse and kicking lineup, presented on sound systems that delivered a really physical music experience and between all of this a multicoloured mixture of some of the most beautiful and blisssful people from all around this planet… My fourth Boom experience was an absolutely unique one and probably the best festival I have seen up to today. It was a huge honour to be part of this temporary autonomous zone for ten days, not only by playing an amazing DJ set together with Sam on the stage of the monumental Dance Temple but also by the simple fact of being present at the wonderful venue out there at Idanha-a-Nova. Find a fragmentary photographic documentation of this adventure below.

Eugenio Derosa photography
Juli 8th, 2010

Dont know too much about the background of Eugenio Derosa but actually his fantastic photography speaks for itself. Many motives from Fuerteventura and the other Canaries but also from the Spanish mainland, from Italy, Sicilia and the UK.

Mario Entero Photography
Juni 4th, 2010
Born in Madrid, based on Fuerteventura but having been quite all around the globe already: Mario Entero is a passionate sportsman since his childhood which combines perfectly with his other big passion: Photography. His portfolio contains lots of activities that have to do with the oceans but there are also other shots like nature and architecture. Everything is presented on a sophisticated and well-made hompage that is definitely worth a visit!

The Listening Station
März 10th, 2010
Currently staying in Berlin, I went to the abandoned listening station on Teufelsberg (German for Devil’s Mountain) today. Quite a big complex that was used to espionage the Soviets and East Germans during the cold war. Obviously it is a popular spot, though it is fenced in, we met various other people there and unfortunately the whole place is covered with tags and graffitis (well, admittedly there are some rather good ones). But still a great place to go for, great views to the city and the surrounding nature and also impressing buildings. The highest dome has very special acoustics, a huge and fucking trippy reverb that is really kind of mind-bending… And finally, finally an opportunity to take some nice pictures again!

Kubikfoto³ relaunched
August 25th, 2009
My favorite photo agency Kubikfoto³ has relaunched its site. Following a different approach concerning the overall design this time, it still keeps that wonderful trashy and lunatic style which is characteristic for Kubikfoto and the impressing tour on the site will not only show you some of the amazing techniques this agency became well known for, but also lots of detailed information about the way they work. If you did not see it yet, dont miss to check out their projects which you will find on the notebook right on the first screen.

Paolo Roversi photography
Juli 20th, 2009
It’s not really big news that a special charisma is less the result of certain physical features but depends much more on the character of a person. Just have a look at all the mainstream fashion and advertise photography and all its soulless zombies, pulling weird faces. Perfect beauty, edited in Photoshop. Paolo Roversi regards a model to be kind of performer, in his opinion most young women can be models. So his work represents a refreshing alternative interpretation of beauty in times when everybody looks the same: Dressed up to the maximum and therefore really bizarre in most of the cases.

Jeff Wall
Juni 5th, 2009

Recently I discovered the work of Jeff Wall, a pretty cool photographer. He does pretty much exactly what is kind of my ideal approach towards phtography: Creating a complex emotional atmosphere by just one shot. No more words needed…

Primavera en Valencia
Mai 3rd, 2009
Sol, Calimocho y Marisco- that’s what it was all about during my visit in Valencia. The city has a huge and very beautiful park area, the amazing Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias by Santiago Calatrava and -very important point- also a beach. I had an absolutely terrific time down there, check out the pictures section for some photographic impressions!
