Roberdo – Hedonistic Freelancer

It might depend on the pretty short distance to the sun these days here in Central Europe: Today I had a really good flow and recorded a new DJ mix. Some of my recent favorite tunes, powerful techno stuff though still friendly and uplifting. Take this Midsummer Groove as a gimmick for this outdoor season- Turn up the volume and enjoy!

After actually not being within the Trance scene of Münster any more since some time now, last weekend was a great opportunity to meet lots of old friends and breathe something like the spirit of the old days… A small festival held in an awesome landscape surrounded by mountains, fields and wind turbines featured an excellent selection of freaks and absolutely great atmosphere. Unfortunately Schwarzlichtmilieu Open Air was another example that the really good parties are most often not economically. Bad weather forecasts combined with a pretty high entry fee made a lot of people staying at home. Nevertheless quite some freaks showed up but half of those were either artists or on the guest list. So it got an atmospherically excellent but financially rather bad party. Thanks to the organizers anyway! Check out a selection of shots I made there in my gallery section.

Over there at Chaishop.com we just released some absolutely terrific Ambient tracks. A very experienced Keyboarder from Germany built 6 really great tracks under the moniker Acht, a full Album is ready to come soon. You can download the tracks for free and you definitely wont regret it- This is for the summer!

Am nächsten Samstag erwartet uns eine durchaus vielversprechende Veranstaltung im hohen Norden der Republik: Der Aubrook ist eine wagenburgartige Siedlung, welche den Bewohnern ein alternatives Leben im dennoch urbanen Umfeld gestattet. Das experimentierfreudige Artifical Soundgate Kollektiv wird dort ein gemütliches Techno / Tech House Open Air veranstalten bei dem Wert auf vielfältige und abwechslungsreiche Musik gelegt wird. Das ist der untergründige Partystil auf den ich im Moment Bock habe- Und ich hoffe doch ihr auch…!

I am quite sure most of you know Google Earth. A really nice tool to get an impression of the area you are going to on your next trip, to search for locations for raves or just to play around if you are bored. But do you also know multimap.com? Well, I did not and now I am pretty enthusiastic about it. Lots of areas in the world feature the so called bird view: In this mode you have an impressing plastic and detailed view on buildings and landscapes and you can even change your angle of vision!

When I go to a restaurant I do not order the same dishes twice before I have tried quite everything on the menu. I am always on search of a new groove that kicks my ass again. Ana about one third of the year you wont find me at my residency but in some other part of the planet exploring beaches, big cities, clubs, festivals, landscapes or strange ruins. Some days back, again on the road and in search of something new, I found myself in front of the magazine offerings in some train station kiosk.
