I really like the fact that the two Alic dudes stood true to their own style and consequently kept on pursuing their very own vision of Electronic Dance Music. There are too many boys and girls out there who just take part in the big Techno-Monopoly game, obeying its self-oscillating rules and diligently creating reproductions of what is hip in the ludicrously hyped clubs of Berlin. In refreshing contrast, this duo specialized on the rare genre of Psychedelic Techno, creating dramatic, mysterious, yes cinematic soundscapes based on hard, twisted and frequently also experiemental beat structures.
