Die Veganen Öko-Rassisten Aus Neukölln

Mai 8th, 2013

70th Bicycle Day

April 19th, 2013

It’s been 70 years since Albert Hofmann conducted his first wilful self-experiment with LSD. His iconic bike ride home became the probably most popular metaphor for his invention today. An invention that had a huge impact on the world as we know it because it works at its most crucial source of innovation and change: The human conmsciousness.

Look At The Horizon

März 17th, 2013

“In order to penetrate the invisible world and develop your powers, you have to live in the present, the here and now. In order to live in the present, you have to control your second mind. And look at the horizon.”

Seven instructions for a better life

Februar 26th, 2013

It might not always be easy to really live up to these beautiful instructions for a better life. However, I strongly recommend to read them as often as possible!

1) Make peace with your past so it won’t screw up the present.

2) What others think of you is none of your business.

3) Time heals almost everything, give it time.

4) Don’t compare your life to others and don’t judge them.
You have no idea what their journey is all about.

5) Stop thinking too much, it’s alright not to know the answers.
They will come to you when you least expect it.

6) No one is in charge of your happiness, except you.

7) Smile. You don’t own all the problems in the world.

We Never Look Up

Januar 9th, 2013

The world has gone mobile. We live in an information society and are connected to information anywhere we go, and whatever we do, 24/7. And that has changed how we as people behave.

We never look up anymore.

Pictures by a mobile researcher from Finland. Food for thought.

How to be German in 20 easy steps

November 21st, 2012

Adam Fletcher, Startup Hipster and honorary German, shares his insights into the top tips to becoming a real citizen of Schland. Just remember to obey the red man and get some qualifications…

A hilarious reading experience making 20 essentially true points about the German state of mind. Either Fletcher is the mysterious Mr. Wash Echte himself or he was greatly inspired by him, at least this guide is strongly reminiscent of Ich werde ein Berliner – How to be a really hip German.

A-Trak: Don’t Push My Buttons

Juli 24th, 2012

A few weeks ago, Deadmau5 stirred a heated discussion by publishing a both honest and provocative blog post. Inspired by this article, DJ and producer A-Trak makes some very good comments on the current state of the Electronic Dance Music scene in general and the role of the DJ in parcticular:

“As the performance aspect becomes predominant, a paradigm shift is underway. Crowds used to come see DJs for a musical journey. Now they expect to hear specific songs and furthermore, they want to see a show. I can attest to this myself: the craziest crowd response that I get in my sets is when I play my own tracks [...] But one has to wonder, when so much emphasis is put on hit records and mise-en-scène: is there still room for DJ skills?”Read the full article at Huffington Post

Pflicht-Rentenversicherung für Selbstständige

Mai 14th, 2012
