GöG created an ultra-minimalistic rotation sequencer with maximal functionality: New camshaftphone, cymbalmachine, flamemachine and fallball. It works as a hybrid machine with 11 trigger sensors and a couple of pedals connected to a sampler.
Funktion One founder Tony Andrews gives a speech about the crucial importance of our sense of hearing, how low quality audio affects the listener’s mind, the loudness war, distortion and how to save the world… by simply listening to good music!

Its been ages since I mixed down my last own production. But I keep interested in studio technology because again and again there is simply fascinating gear in this field. The controllers from Livid Instruments fascinate me especially because of their really stylish design made of polished aluminium and real wood. I cant help myself, they strongly remind me the gear from monome, who produced these kind of grid-matrix-trigger-pads long before the APC-Revolution. However, beautiful technology that will surely work out pretty well with the relevant software.

It is decadence in its probably most ultimate form. But still it was so much fascinating for me when I randomly discovered this in a magazine yesterday. It remembered me those fascinating utopic visions in the computer game Final Fantasy, which I used to play on my Playstation 1 many years ago. But this one really happens: The Oasis of the Seas will be launched before this year ends and she will be the biggest cruising ship ever. When watching this video, keep in mind that it really is about a ship.
Dope Shit!
