This video has been a great inspiration. The Cuban surfers neither have fancy boards nor epic waves – yet they have lots and lots of fun, in other words: They have the original spirit of surf. Those guys show that the happiest people do not have the best of everything but they simply make the best of everything. However, also the seed of our human drama appears when the keyword champion is introduced. If you speak Spanish, enjoy the Cuban accent which is very, very similar to the Canarian. If you don’t speak Spanish, enjoy the beautiful pictures – you’ll get the message anyway.

Spätestens wenn polnischen Reinigungskräften gekündigt wird, weil sie keine veganen Putzmittel benutzen, sollte allen klar sein, dass auch Neukölln mittlerweile in den Feuern der Gentrifizierungshölle schmort. Offenbar wird der Berliner Stadtbezirk nämlich von spießigen Upper-Class-Ökos bevölkert, die gerne mal auf die xenophobe Kacke hauen.

A young Russian band named I Am Waiting For You Last Summer combines Post Rock with Dubstep, Breaks, Drum’n'Bass and other electronic rhythms. A fascinating mixture that is sometimes reminiscent of Moderat’s self-titled debut album, but then again it has its very own character which is clearly that of a band. I’m stoked, hope these guys are touring Europe during the summer.
