Toby Dreher – Freiluft in the mix

I was enthusiastic about the sound of Toby Dreher since I first heard a record of one of his early live projects named Notendruck, today known as Dreher & Smart. Now I discovered that Toby just released a solo album named ‘Freiluft’ (German for ‘open air’). This live mix gives a great impression of this work: Super deep and highly melodic Dub Techno characterized by complex arrangements and lots of accoustic delicacies. The album is out on Rotary Cocktail and proves Toby Dreher to be among the most interesting and most talented German producers from the field of Dub Techno.
